Realities for Children
Realities For Children provides for the unmet and ongoing support needs of children in Northern Colorado who have been abused, neglected or are at-risk.
- We do this through our healing philosophy that provides emergency funding for children in Larimer County when all other resources are exhausted.
- We support the process of recovery through youth activities, critical item distributions, and resources to our 38 Partner Youth Agencies.
And, we work to break the cycle of abuse through special direct grant programs and scholarships for the youth we serve.
Danny Juarez Fund
Support underprivileged youth in sports and other activities around Northern Colorado. Recently donated 20 baseball gloves and 5 buckets of balls to the Boys & Girls Club of Fort Collins. Many of these kids that received the gloves haven’t owned a glove. An up and coming boxer out of Greeley couldn’t afford the travel costs to compete to be on a national boxing team. DJ Fund helped this boxer with some of his expenses.
Hearts & Horses
At Hearts & Horses Therapeutic Riding Center, our mission is to promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social well-being of people with special needs through equine-assisted therapy.
Recently we donated heating and cooling systems to their learning facility where many youth, veterans, disabled, and elderly groups would meet.
Hearts & Horses
Annual scholarships are given to young women we would like to see continue their education and their vision for a better life. Scholarships are awarded in both traditional and non-traditional areas, such as hairdresser, culinary arts, or other vocations that often do not offer scholarship or grant funding.
Habitat for Humanity
Our mission is to build safe, decent, and affordable homes in partnership with hard-working families in need. This grassroots effort is made possible through the generous donations of materials, money, and labor from members of the Fort Collins community.
Habitat provides a 0% interest loan where Habitat homeowners make a monthly mortgage payment that does not exceed 30% of their income. Habitat homeowners also save a down payment and contribute up to 500 hours of “sweat equity” in the building of their home and at the ReStore.
Alex's Lemonade Stand
Your donations fund research that brings better treatments and cures to children with cancer. ALSF also provides emotional, financial and logistical support to childhood cancer families that makes their challenges more manageable.
Kawasaki Kids Foundation
Build a friendly and knowledgeable community to help save kids hearts and cure Kawasaki Disease by increasing awareness.
Create national awareness of Kawasaki Disease, find a cure through research, support families by creating a supportive network, and educate families, communities, and health care professionals.
Boys & Girls Club of Larimer County
At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County, we support young people by providing an outcome-driven Club experience, with programming offered in three priority outcome areas: Academic Success, Good Character & Leadership, and Healthy Lifestyles. These programs provide the foundation for personal growth, new opportunities, and prevention of risky behaviors.
Helping Heroes is a program that benefits local “heroes” like first responders, military veterans, educators, or others that have served our community. The annual events bring in large funds to help other charities who have large projects.

What a great knowledgeable staff! My heater has been kicking on and off every fifteen minutes, so I called IMS and the nice lady on the phone gave me tips and had me change my filter before they scheduled a technician to come out so I wouldn’t be charged for something I could fix myself. The filter didn’t work so they sent a tech out. They were quick to respond and were able to get me a tech the next day. The technician that they sent, Fesstus was very knowledgeable and through, he new exactly what part broke, was able to fix it right away and verified everything is working properly. This is the place to call for heating and air service!
Did a great job putting in my new furnace and air conditioning. Only sold me what I needed and what would work best for my house. Very professional and friendly staff.
Thank you IMS Heating and Air Inc
IMS is amazing! I can’t say enough about them. From ownership, staff in the office, installers, techs, you name it they are fantastic! Have worked with IMS for 15 years, on new constructions, retrofit mini-splits, full system replacements of older units, service dept, etc. I am always very impressed and can highly recommend them. Prices are very competitive, communication is top notch! They regularly service existing units on my rentals, all their departments are great to work with!!! One of the best HVAC companies anywhere, and they are right here in Northern Colorado!
